Healthy Outdoors™ Mosquito Larvicide is an EPA-registered, nontoxic, biological product for control of mosquito larvae living in ponds and puddles. Mosquitoes are carriers of malaria, yellow fever, encephalitis and West Nile Virus. Healthy Outdoors™ proprietary competitive advantage (a PDB, Inc. exclusive) is its’ sustained release biodegradable granules that kill larvae at different depths of water. Healthy Outdoors™ has a 30-day release, compared to 7 days for competitors in the world market
The market for Healthy Outdoor™ is significantly smaller than for Elexa®, but this product could have major United Nations (WHO) social impact for the millions dying annually from mosquito-borne diseases, especially in developing countries. This product also works against mosquitoes that transmit West Nile virus and Eastern Equine Encephalitis in the United States. This product will be available for distribution in 2006. Several other synergistic products and strategic alliances will be added to the PDB, Inc. portfolio before the end of 2004. |
